We are a West Virginia beef farmer’s cooperative created with small local farmers in our community to develop higher quality meats. In order to ensure consistent quality beef, the West Virginia farmer’s co-op developed guidelines that all participating farmers must follow in order to ensure 100% natural West Virginia beef.
Each Mountain State Natural beef is hand selected to ensure quality from the beginning. Our cattle are source verified, meaning that each West Virginia beef farmer in the co-op has raised the beef from a calf or has documentation of where the calf was born locally. Our cattle are raised in open fields with continual access to pasture. They are never fed growth hormones of any kind and have never been given antibiotics in their feed. MORE> |
